The mental happy place is very important when you're getting annoyed by someone. Or something. Or anything...
A&A fans, it's been a while. A long while! I think something like 4 months since the last one. I'd do a "thank you to last issue's fav'ers" here but a lot of you have changed your names (are you trying to confuse me or) So it'll have to wait til next time!
I see da has undergone some changes as well and seems to be working worse than ever. Just like every time they do something! And those ads. Well, ads are good for one thing: to tell you who has the most money to spend (ads cost a lot of money). So the biggest spenders with the most money, you see their ads on da the most. And then da takes that money and uses it to make their website even worse!
The worst thing about advertising in my opinion, is that it gives the advertiser unfair influence. For example let's say pepsi started advertising on da. Da would rely on that money from pepsi. Da would not want to lose that money, so da wouldn't want to do anything to offend pepsi. And then what if an artist submitted some art with coca cola in it? Pepsi might not like that. Pepsi could threaten da, and da might start telling artists not to submit art with pepsi in it. Things like that. These things DO happen. This by the way is how the news works also, but that's a lesson for another time!
